Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, our wedding venue had to cancel our wedding date. They only had one other date as an option. I emailed Joseph Cullen as soon as I found out. He stated he was unable to switch the new date due to already being booked. I asked about any refund of the deposit. In which he refused. He then sent me the contract and stated the refund was “non refundable” due to “uncontrollable events.” I feel that this even is beyond “uncontrollable” as we are in a pandemic and have been declared a state of emergency.
