I was contacted by a "Medicare" representative who knew that I have back issues and have received a back brace in the past. He claimed that Medicare is going to send me a new one. When he asked for my new Medicare ID, I asked him why he was requesting it, since he’s calling from Medicare. He said that they had my old number and needed to verify with my new number. Needless to say, I told him that I wouldn’t do that and to give me a number to call back, on my own. He gave me another number which was not on the caller ID he called me on. As follows561-218-4151.
