Purchased a silver HTC One from Sprint. (I carry 5 lines with them and have used them for years) I paid approx $200 for this phone. Three days later it fell out of my pocket and landed in a puddle of water. The Sprint store said I had to place a claim with Asurion. Asurion charged me $159 and was supposed to ship fedex next day as I put the claim in before 10pm. Instead it took Asurion 8 days later to send me a phone, it was shipped 2 day ground instead of next day air and the phone is black even though the shipping invoice states they sent me the white (silver). So I have spent over $359 for a refurbished phone that isn”t even the color I wanted and no one at Asurion or Sprint has been willing to assist in rectifying the situation. I know that the insurance doesn”t promise the same exact phone but considering I only had it 3 days I really feel ripped off having to pay the deductible and getting a refurbished phone to add insult to injury.
