Bruno, an autographed memorabilia collector, bought a Steve Nash Phoenix Suns authentic game model basketball jersey from me on eBay. He said he needed it in a hurry right before the 2017 Final 4. He received it on March 31 as promised. On April 3 he opened a return claiming it is ”not authentic” which is false. eBay allowed the return as is their stupid policy.
When I opened the return package, inside was a BOOTLEG WORTHLESS LAKERS JERSEY. And on his Instagram account I found out that Nash did a free autograph signing on April 2. However at such signings the players often refuse to sign anything except the photos provided by the sponsor. Most likely Nash refused to sign the jersey and the buyer is using the ”not authentic” claim to circumvent my 20% restocking fee.
